Ingredients for
Edda's Clay Cooker Chicken
1 2-3 lb. frying chicken
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
Paprika (to taste)
1 cooking onion
3-4 carrots
How to Make
Edda's Clay Cooker Chicken
Soak clay cooker in cold water for 1/2 hour
Wash chicken and place in cooker with legs tied
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika and then add chopped onion and chicken bouillon
Cook for 2 hours at 350°
Add carrots and continue cooking for another 1 1/2 hours (you can take the lid off for the last 15-30 minutes if you want a browner, crispier skin)
