Ingredients for Grandma Pare's Chocolate Chip Coins
1 cup Soft Margerine
1/2 cup White Sugar
1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 3/4 Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
12 oz pkg Mini Chocolate Chips
How to Make Grandma Pare's Chocolate Chip Coins
Beat first 5 ingredients in large bowl with mixer til smooth. Add next two ingredients. Then add chocolate chips. Mix well with mixer or spoon til flour is mixed in.
Cover bowl and put in fridge for 2 hours.
Divide dough into 7 or more equal parts. Cut equal number of pieces wax paper. Shape each piece of dough into log about 3/4" -1" wide roll. Wrap each piece tightly and freeze at least 2 hours or several days til ready to use.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Cut frozen rolls carefully with very sharp knife into small circles about 1/4" thick. Put on cookie sheets. Bake 5-6 minutes till lightly browned.
