Ingredients for
Karen's Swiss Steak
- 2 1/2 - 3 lb. Swiss steak (round steak)
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1-8 oz. un-drained tomatoes (cut into pieces)
- 1-8 oz. tomato sauce
- 5/8 oz. bouillon (onion soup mix)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- add green pepper
How to Make
Karen's Swiss Steak
- Cut meat into serving pieces
- Combine salt, pepper, flour
- Coat meat in mixture
- Brown meat in oil in large frying pan, drain excess fat
- Add remaining ingredients
- Simmer covered, 1 1/2 - 2 hours until meat is tender
- Serve over noodles
