Ingredients of
Grandma Pare's Peanut Butter Squares

  •  1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Corn Syrup
  • 1 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  •  4 cup Special K Cereal
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

How to Make
Grandma Pare's Peanut Butter Squares

  1.  In a large saucepan, combine first two ingredients on medium speed, stirring almost constantly til it's bubbly and boiling hard. Remove from heat.
  2. Stir in peanut butter til smooth. Add cereal and mix well. Spread in buttered 13" x 9" pan.
  3. Melt chocolate chips in microwave or put in glass measuring cup and put in pan of boiling water that comes about half way up cup. Add more water to pan if necessary. Stir chocolate one or two times til melted. Spread over top of bars.
  4. Chill til the chocolate hardens. Cut in squares.

Notes

If the squares are too hard to cut, let sit out of fridge until softer.
