  • 2 1/4 cups cake flour or 2 cups regular flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
