  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

How to Make
Karen's Coconut-Pecan Frosting

  1. In saucepan, combine milk, sugar, butter, egg and salt
  2. Cook, stirring over medium heat until thickened
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans
