Ingredients for
Hawaiian Pulled Pork

  •  1 (3.5- to 4-pound) boneless pork shoulder
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken stock
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon minced fresh ginger

How to Make
Hawaiian Pulled Pork

  1. Trim excess fat from pork shoulder.
  2. Set oven to 275.
  3. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk.
  4. Place pork shoulder in a covered roasting pan and pour marinade over the pork shoulder. 
  5. Cover and place in the oven and cook for 5 hours or until an internal temperature of 205 degrees is reached.
  6. When ready remove from the oven and let it rest for 1 hour.
  7. Pull the pork apart using two forks
  8. Toss the pork with your favourite BBQ sauce and place it on a bun.

Notes

We serve this with mayo and cheese on a toasted pretzel bun. Great game day pulled pork!
