This is one of Jordan's favourite Lebanese dishes that I make. One night we went to our favourite family restaurant, Tabouli's in Lakeshore. I was on a mission to copy this amazing meal. You can find all of the entire menu ... look up Karen's Fattoush Salad, Lebanese Rice, Shish Tawook, Beef Kebab, Gyro Meat and Hummus. This took lots of tries to get it perfected so I hope you all enjoy it as much as my family.

Ingredients for
Karen's Lebanese Garlic Sauce

  • 1 cup garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 3 cups canola oil
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

How to Make
Karen's Lebanese Garlic Sauce

  1. You will need a large food processor (half the recipe if you have a small food processor).
  2. Slice garlic cloves in half lengthwise and remove any green sprouts.
  3. Transfer the garlic and salt to the food processor and process for 1 minute.
  4. Add 1 – 2 Tbsp of oil, slowly, add a few more until the garlic starts looking creamy. Continue adding oil, alternating with lemon juice and processing for about 15 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a glass container, cover with paper towel in the fridge overnight.
  6. Next day, replace paper towel with an airtight lid and keep in fridge for up to 3 months.
