Ingredients for
Sourdough Pancakes

DRY INGREDIENTS:

  •  1 1/2 cup all - purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • (2 tsp baking powder)
  • (1 tsp baking soda)

WET INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract


How to Make
Sourdough Pancakes

  1.  Mix all the dry ingredients except the baking soda and baking powder.
  2. Mix all the wet ingredients.
  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients together.
  4. Cover the batter and refrigerate overnight.
  5. In the morning, add the baking soda and baking powder to the batter.
  6. Add more milk if the batter is too thick.
  7. Let the batter sit for a few minutes. 
  8. Make the pancakes and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe call for the batter to be prepared and refrigerated a day ahead of making the pancakes.

Add ins, like cinnamon or berries, work well in this recipe too.
