Kelly’s trifle is the kind of dessert that brings everyone to the table with eager anticipation. I can still picture it gracing the holiday spread at so many of our family gatherings, especially at Christmas. Layer upon luscious layer of chocolatey goodness and whipped topping—it was a showstopper every time. But what made Kelly’s trifle truly special was her creativity. She never made it exactly the same way twice, always experimenting with different toppings, from decadent chocolate shavings, sweet marshmallow creme to jewel-like berries.  No matter the variation, one thing was certain—it was always a hit.
